My Daily Rutine

So I mentioned that I would post my daily rutine so here it is. this is what I stress over all of the time.We get up before 8 and get breakfast out of the way and get dressed before the "day" actually starts.
9am-12noon Homeschool
12-1 lunch/clean up
1-2 Quiet time
2-5 Free time
5-7 evening chores/dinner
7-8 Baths/pjs/Family Prayer
8 Bedtime
During the day I'm able to do 1 load of laundry (yes I can stay caught up with only 1) I've been really good at cleaning up after every meal so I just make sure the dish washer is empty before breakfast is over. Then I sweep the floor after the boys go to bed. Carsyn's chores keeps the house pretty clean. I just have to wash toilets and sweep/mop.
And for those of you that think I sit at the computer all day long you couldn't be farther from the truth. The computer sits on the table open all day while I listen to itunes. I don't have time to sit on the computer. If I am at the computer it's usually because I'm printing coupons for Chad. Or doing Carsyn's school stuff.
Now the scedule does get thrown off when Chad is home but for the most part it stays pertty good. And the best part is, the boys know the schedule so it isn't a fight to get them to have quiet time or bedtime or clean up....
So anyway there it is. I'm hopeing to add more to my plate and start my crafting again. I miss crafting. I'm thinking maybe either during quiet time or free time twice a week.
I know I'm a nut case but ohwell. I know there are a few people that love me despite that.

Story of Stress

So last night I was watching Dr. Oz before I went to bed and he talked about canker sores and that they're caused from stress. Well I get canker sores pretty often. So I was talking to Chad about this because I never thought of them being caused from stress. Well Chad agreed that I stress WAY too much over things. Right now I think my main struggle is sitting down to take a breath. (Chad pointed this out) I'm so concerned about keeping up with house work and home work that I forget to stop for a minute. I guess I feel that if I sit down for a moment in the day I'm being unproductive and lazy. I never sit on the couch and I only sit in my Chair when I'm feeding the baby. I try to stay busy all day. I think I clean Cole's room like 8000 times a day so I don't have to start a big project and his room is the easiest to clean. The positive side to this is that I've been really good for the last few months on keeping the house clean. The bad part is that I run run run and when I crash, I crash HARD. Like even today. The boys are having quiet time and when I was pregnant or when I don't feel well (like yesterday) I will lay down but today I feel fine so I did the dishes, took a shower, sorted laundry and now I'm blogging (yes I have blogging on my "to do list") instead of sitting down and reading or resting. In our last Conference session it was pointed out that "my worth is not measured by my to do list" I guess I need to listen to that and just take a break once in a while. Maybe I will post our dailey rutine on here so you all can laugh at me lol...I stress if we don't "keep to the schedule"

Thankful Thoughts

So I've been pondering for the last few weeks about what I'm thankful for. How could I pick just 1 thing? Chad and I are so blessed. We're thankful that my Mom is still with us. We were told she wouldn't be here this time of year. I'm so thankful that she is. I'm so thankful for my Boys. all 5 of them. I'm thankful that Cooper arrived safely and even my scary labor stories are what most women envy. I'm Thankful for Chad and his sacrifices for our Family. I'm thankful for genuine friends that know when you need them even when you don't ask. I'm thankful I have a home. And that I've been a lot better at keeping it in order. I'm thankful for quiet time because even though I said I'm thankful for my Boys I will admit they drive me nuts most day. I'm thankful for the Gospel in my life and the Testimony I have. I'm thankful for my Savior and the Love he has for me.

I dont want to brag but I make a dang good home made pie!

Nursery Blues

So the other day I was sitting at the counter and I found myself crying. I have been so overwhelmed about Making Coopers nursery set and I didn't know where to begin. I wasn't motivated to even start. Here my little baby is already 2 weeks old and I still don't have a bedding set for him. I've tried shopping for one but I just really hate all of the ones in the store. That is why we had decided to make one. So there I was just crying over it at the computer. So I start to shop for one online (again) I went to Ebay and did some searching there. And then there it was. Finally I found a bed set that wasn't $200. and that Chad and I both liked. So we watched the auction that included 13 pieces of a nursery (all but a lamp and mobile). Total with shipping was only $75 I didn't think that was bad considering what all it came with. It's so cute. It's a little aviator set with brown earth tone colors. I will post a picture when it gets here. I was just so relieved to finally have a set for him, and I feel a lot less stressed since I don't have to make one.

Click HERE and it will take to one still listed on ebay.

Not enough words.

I just want to give Chad a BIG thanks for all of the work he has done this last 2 weeks. He has worked so hard taking care of me, the boys, the house, changing the floors, doing the shopping, cooking. Every time I turn around he is doing something while I just sit around and lay in bed. When I got my fever, is concern for me was great he kept asking if I was ok. I love him so much. I couldn't ask for a better husband/companion/Dad for our boys.
I Love you Chad.

Look at that hair!

Cooper Elliott

(The red text are links)
So here's what happened. It all started on Sat night. Remember I posted on facebook about having a gallbladder attack?? Well I think that is what got it all started. It was a pretty intense attack. It ended about 8:30 then I helped Chad bag our 40 LBS of chicken, then went to bed. around 12:30 I woke up feeling another attack starting so I got up got comfortable in my chair and was gearing up for a long night. Close to 1am the attack seemed to be gone but I kept having menstrual cramps, about every 10 min. So I woke Chad up and told him I "think" I was having contractions. The reason I say "I think" is because with all of my other boys I never really had them. My water would break I would go in have 2 contractions and babies are here. So anyway, around 2am I was able to go back to bed but I didn't sleep at all because I was still feeling the cramps but instead of coming and going it was just "there". So on Sunday Chad took the boys to Stake Conference, I stayed home still feeling the same. I was up all night again Sunday night. I was getting up about every 20 min with cramps and having to go potty and roll over etc.....Monday rolls around I'm still feeling yucky but we went to the library and some things, then about 4:45 I called The Baby Place to check in. I had no idea what to think because again, I've never felt this before. I talked with Holly and told her I think I've been having contractions she told me to time them and such. But again they didn't "hurt" like what you hear others talk about, so I didn't know. So around 8pm I called Amy and told her she should probably come over to be with the boys and I called The Baby Place again and told Jerusha that they seem to be coming about every 5 min but not lasting long. She said to go ahead and come down and she will take a look. So we did (got there just before 9) and then I got in trouble lol....Jerusha checked me and said I should have gone down hours ago lol. I was already at 7cm 100% and 0 station. So we just proceeded I sat in the chair contracting like I had been at home. Around midnight I was super tired from not sleeping all weekend. My water still hadn't broke and I was starting to get annoyed. I had totally forgotten what it felt like to push because again I don't do labor normally. So Holly told me what I would feel. Just after 1am I was done I felt the slightest possibility to push (probably should/could have waited another contraction ) Chad went and got the crew and I moved to the Birthing stool. 1 push broke my water YAY there was hope lol. I started pushing. after 1 push Jerusha stopped me. There was a slight problem. She had me push again and the little stinker was trying to come out hands first. His right arm was across his chest and his hand was up by his cheek. It took a little more effort then the other boys but still only about 5 min of pushing. He got here and was having a rough time clearing his lounges. He had lots of bruising on his face (poor little guy) But other wise we're all doing great. He was born at 1:14am on Nov 9th We came home at 10am that morning. He was 8lbs 10oz, 21 1/2 inches long and his head was 14 1/8 (plus the arm in the way) He has LOTS of super DARK hair. The other boys had little bit of hair that was slightly dark but nothing like this.

I will post more pics later.

That I'm married to the best Man on earth? I've been watching him for the past few weeks and just counting my blessings. I've posted pics of him with Carsyn, and Shaily. You can just see the Love he has for the boys (and Nieces) and not to mention his new devotion to couponing to save us money. He sacrifices so much for us with his long commute to work, and he strives everyday to better himself.

I love you Chad Thanks for all that you do.

Multiple Updates

FIGHTING!!!
So tonight I'm staying up late. The boys today for some reason were so tired. all they did was fight and cry. I'm wondering though...They're the ones using all of their energy fighting and crying so why does it exhaust me so much? I guess I will never know. So I've just been sitting here in the quiet watching tv. I know I will regret staying up late in the morning but oh well. my ears need a break.
Baby Update
still doing good with the pregnancy. there isn't much to complain about. I'm just fat and it's hard to move. Same with all of the other ones. I'm 37 weeks and 2 days but I always go late so who knows when he will get here. Tonight is the last night Chad will stay in Mt Home until the baby gets here. We will borrow my Dads little car for the gas mileage and he will drive back and forth just in case I go into labor over night.
Coupons, Coupons, Coupons,
Couponing is something that I loved the idea of and would feel sick to my stomach every time a friend would post she bought $100, of stuff for $10. I tried to learn but I just do NOT get it. Well I started following the blogs and websites and showed Chad, well I still don't get it but Chad has really picked up on it. yesterday he got $90 worth of stuff for $20 (I will post a pic tomorrow when he gets home) So Hopefully with Chads help we will be able to save some money on our grocery budget.
Family
So, as you all know my Mom is.....well..."out of order" I don't want to say she's getting any better or getting any worse. right now she's just kind of staying the same. But my Sis from AK is coming down YAY! I think we decided that it's been about 2 maybe 3 years since we've seen each other so it will be fun. She's coming to visit Mom and help out Dad a little.
So anyway I'm sure I have more updates but I don't want to bore you so I will stop here for tonight and post something in a few days. I need to talk about my crafting plans, and my blessings, and other stuff. So TA TA FOR NOW!

Chad has a "Feeling"

So, I'm 36 weeks pregnant. The Baby let me tell you is the most active one that I've been prego with. he moves 24/7 and not just a kick here and there he does flips and runs laps. Non of the other boys did that. So Chad has a feeling that I'm not going to make it to my due date. I usually go about a week late but Chad thinks this time is going to be different. He is more "ancy" then me lol. last week he turned the bed and put the pack n play in there for the baby to sleep. he asked about 3 weeks ago if I wanted to put the carseat in the car lol
So what do you think? Will I go before my due date or go after like always?

Grrr....my internet has been down

Grrr....my internet has been down since about 3pm Im now getting pretty mad and of course it came over a weekend.
~Carey~

Eventfull Night

Last night we had a good evening after a rough day. We went to the temple with Amy it was good to be able to do that. We got home a little after 10pm, got the boys in bed and headed that way ourselves. I could NOT sleep. I just layed there thinking about the events from the day. I finally fell asleep only to wake up to heart burn. I hat the fact that a glass of water gives me heart burn. I'm always so thirsty. So I'm now awake again grrr....after a while Corbyn woke up and tried to get in bed with us. we decided the other day that it's time to put and end to this phase before it gets worse. so Chad went and put him back in bed. He wasn't happy at all. Chad stayed in there with him for a while so again I lie there awake. I can't sleep when Chad is in the other room. He falls asleep in there and I usually have to go get him to come back to bed. Chad came back and I finally fell asleep just after 2:30 but it didn't last long I was up again shortly after 3 with heart burn again. I got a candy cane (the peppermint sooths heartburn) got on the computer, opened a window, then I went back to bed about 4. But again, that didn't last long. I had just gotten in bed and Cole started crying. We tried to ignore him thinking he would go back to sleep but I went in and got him only to find he had thrown up all over ugh! I'm Sooooo tired by now! I got Chad up to help me clean up and we put him in bed with us. I FINALLY fell asleep (I think) I looked at the clock at 4:54 and then when I looked again it said 5:12! about 5 min later Cole threw up again grrr...Chad had to get up at 5:30 so by the time we got the bed cleaned up (and I had just changed the sheets the day before) he just got in the shower and I rocked Cole. I went back to bed sometime around 6 and just layed there until Chad left for work sometime after 6:30. then the other boys came in right on cue between 7-7:30.
So I've had no sleep, we're supposed to do 2 lessons of school today because we missed yesterday, I have to get the garage cleaned back up it's starting to become an issue along with some other things that I apparently don't do. This is not how I wanted to start my weekend.

Are you annoyed yet?

Have I been talking too much? Between my blog and Facebook I'm starting to wonder if people would rather if I just shut up for a min lol. I think the reason behind so many post lately is the fact that from 9am-12ish I'm on the computer doing school with Carsyn. But while he is filling in the work sheets after the lessons I have 2-3 min while I wait. it's not really enough time to leave the table and go clean ha ha.
Ohwell, I've always been the one in the room that talks a lot so I guess the people who know me best are just use to it.

Baby Gifts.

Ok All, The time is getting closer. I'm due at the end of Oct. If you're like me you like to give gifts. Well, after have 3 boys already, there isn't much that I "need" When I had Cole I got so many things but I still haven't used all of it. So I thought I would create a gift registry and let people know what kinds of things we need/want. First off. This baby is coming at a different time of year. So I need a few more warmer clothes. Not a lot though. I like the Gerber Pj suit things. I have PLENTY of blankets. but most everything else on the registry are things that I will use. Diaper cream, nursing pads, changing table sheets.. things like that. I will add more here and there and I will also shop around for those "anti Walmart" shoppers lol. Now don't take this as a plea for gifts because it isn't. I'm just asking that if you do get us something, these are what I need.
Also, I will be making the nursery set. SO I am also accepting donations or JoAnns gift cards so I can buy Fabric. Since they are being used to buy Fabric for the baby it will work great for a baby gift!
If you want to hand make something, I've seen some fun things for the car seat. One is a blanket that the seat belt straps go through so after you buckle the baby he's already in a blanket you just have to swaddle Him. And then another one I saw was a blanket that goes over the car seat but it had straps on the top to fasten it to the handle so the blanket/cover wont come off.
Anyway, We're grateful for anything but like I said we already have so much.
So far the only registry I've created is at walmart. and you can view it online and even buy it and have it shipped (I think)

Love you all, Maybe the next one will be a girl so then we can all go shopping for LOTS of PINK!

Ok my 1st attempt at this and if I figured out right i paid $6.80 and got 10 packs of cheese and 10 tubs cool whip total savings was $62.80. Thanks Stephanie for helping me

My School is done???

So this morning as I was setting up School I asked Corbyn what he was going to learn today and he replied "the ABC's" because that's what we've been working on. So he then asked me the same question...I replied I will probably be learning patience again. So then during quiet time I was laying by Corbyn, He asked if I put away the homework in the school cabinet. I replied that yes I had cleaned up all of the school work. He then said "so, Carsyn's homework, and Corbyn's homework, and your homework.....So the point to my story is according to Corbyn all of the homework is put away so I guess I'm done learning patience for the day! I put my patience in the cabinet until tomorrow... =)

all ready to start the school day

Stained Glass???

So I'm thinking it's time to learn a new craft. I'm thinking about stained glass doesn't it sound fun? Has anyone ever done it?
Well, to answer the question in one of my previous post....I fell flat on my face! Ohwell. Life goes on. There will always be a to do list and I know that but it's nice to have a clean house when Chad is off work.

We had a good day off on Sat after him being gone all week. We bought him a little camp trailer for him to stay in at work. I think it will be a lot more comfortable then the back of his truck. The boys missed him while he was gone so they were happy he was home. But it was short lived because he went back to work today *sigh* but at least inventory is over and he is back on his rotation. So he wont be gone NEARLY as long.

I'm going to spend tomorrow and Tuesday dong the basics dishes, laundry, homework, etc....but I'm not going to overdue it again. It took a few days to feel better after last week. Geez I'm such a wimp.

Anyway, Thanks for reading my pointless random thoughts. I don't get many face to face visits so this is my "adult conversations" lol...Really by typing it on here it doesn't seem "so much" that I'm just talking to myself.

Aww Crap!

I don't know if anyone ever reads my blog (I know Katy does but that's only because I call her and tell her to go look) Anyway, We got off to a rough start this morning. For some reason the kids think they need to be up before the sun (so hard for me when that happens) So we get up and get started with the normal, get dressed, Carsyn started with homework, I'm deciding where to begin "my stuff" then all of a sudden I got really hot, light headed, dizzy, and really felt the need to throw up. So I sat down in the chair hoping it would help. Every time I closed my eyes it got worse. after about 20 min I finally couldn't hold back to I ran to throw up. I'm still really sick to my stomach, dizzy when I turn fast, and just not doing well today. I'm trying to think of what could have brought this on.

  1. I've worked way too hard these last few days.
  2. The bacon I had for breakfast was a little too questionable
  3. Stress/lack of sleep
  4. being 31.5 weeks pregnant
  5. All of the above.

I will try and take it easy today and we'll get back to the list tomorrow.

Restless Night

Last night was kind of a rough night for me. And there really wasn't a reason for it, it was just me being silly. Yesterday evening Chad let me know that his cell battery was going dead and he wouldn't be able to charge it until he got off, so if I needed anything I needed to call the store. Chad is supposed to be off work at 8pm but being the night before inventory I knew he wouldn't be off on time. I wasn't worried when I hadn't heard from him. I went to bed after 10pm and I my mind just started to wonder. What if Chad tried to come home to surprise me and crashed and died (I know silly right?) So I lay there in bed thinking If Chad had died how would I get through? Most people lean on their Mom's for support and comfort. Well I don't have that luxury anymore (in a matter of speaking) Yes there is Chads Mom, other Family members, Friends and lots of other people to lean on, but lets be honest nobody is like "Mom" So, If Chad was to die today who would hold my hand next month while I'm in Labor? Who would I call in the middle of the day to vent about the boys? Mom was always there, She was in the delivery room for all 3 (well except for Cole, she didn't drive fast enough) Mom, understands to the fullest my strange way of doing things. So anyway I know Chad isn't going to die today or tomorrow, And I know Mom is technically still here. But I just couldn't help but wonder. I finally got a hold of Chad around 10:45 it was a long day for him. Once I heard his voice I calmed down and was able to get a little sleep.

Carsyns cooking project
~Carey~

Good Start

Well last night I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Saying good by to Chad this morning was really hard. We hate being apart. It just stinks. But the day goes on. I got up and got right to it. I've done quite a bit today. I'm far from being done but I think if I get a few more things done this afternoon I will be in good shape to finish by the end of the week. I think the one I dread the most is mowing the back yard. I'm not sure why. I love doing yard work but for some reason the back yard kicks my fanny.

Well, there's the dryer buzzer time to get back to it!

A Busy Week Ahead.

I have mixed feelings about this upcoming week. Will I be able to survive and hold it all together, or will I turn it into a complete disaster and crash hard right on my face? Last week I got so far behind on all of my house work. I kept up on the basics like dishes and putting toys away but I didn't do laundry at all. The reason was, I did all of that corn. It took a lot out of me to freeze 19 dozen ears of corn by myself. So this week I get to play catch up on everything. Normally that isn't a big deal, I can handle house work. My problem is, that we're also starting with Carysn's schooling in the morning, and Chad has inventory at work this week so he works Mon-Fri. That means he leaves at 6:30 in the morning and I wont see him again until Fri at 9:30pm. So will I be able to hold it together this week without his moral support? It's going to be a tough challenge. Some of the things I will be doing this week,
Carsyn's school. I'm excited to get started with this. Not only do I love the school we have him in but I'm also adding things to the curriculum. He's going to learn Sewing, Scrapbooking, cooking, Wood Working with Chad and we're having him do more reading from the Book of Mormon. I'm so proud of him. He's only supposed to be a 2nd grader in regards to his age but he is going to do 3 rd grade work and 4th grade math. He did his Math assignment on Friday and he gets to skip 24% of the work because he already knows it.
Corbyn, I don't know what to say about Corbyn, he is so eager to learn but I will definitely have to teach it in a different way. But for starters he needs to get his alphabet and numbers down. He's got his colors and shapes So we're off to a good start. Last year I noticed that every time I did homework with Carsyn, Corbyn always ran and got flash cards or a book or something. So this year I made him his own "School Binder" We filled it with alphabet coloring pages and numbers and some other things that he can do for his home work.
So we will see how we do this week regarding school,
The goals I have for myself to do this week to just get caught up is, Mow the back yard, Make cover pages for the boys' binders, get the garage put back together (I have some more scrapbooking items to move) so I can park in there again, get the laundry caught back up. I usually keep it to the point where I only have to wash 1 load a day, but I'm really behind. I need to make some long over due Thank You cards. and get my Visiting Teaching cards made. Run to Walmart for a few items and clean up the pantry.

So I ask again, Will I be able to hold it together, or will I fall hard?

I'm going to miss Chad so much. I hate how he can't come home every night. But it's a sacrifice that has to be made for our family. And I know other Families have it a lot worse. I feel blessed.
